Amitabh Bachchan is afraid of Jaya Bachchan

New Delhi . In ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, veteran Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan told how his wife and actress Jaya Bachchan is strict towards him.

In the 40th episode of the 15th season of the quiz-based reality show, host Big B welcomed Jaya Patel from Simga, Chhattisgarh to the hot seat.

While talking to the contestant, Amitabh said, “You are a teacher. “Are you strict or generous?”

The contestant replied, “Sir, I am strict while teaching.” But I have two names. I am Juhi and Jaya, so, when I am Jaya, I am strict. And when I am Juhi I am normal. Sir, I also had a question.

The actor said: “I know what you’re going to ask.”

The contestant laughingly asked, referring to Jaya Bachchan, “Sir, how was your experience with the name Jaya?”

To this, the ‘Sholay’ actor said: “Well, my experience… this is Jai-Ju. He is strict and generous at the same time.”

The 80-year-old actor said, “I have to go home too.” I don’t want to get beaten. So, when it gets tough, it’s better to stay inside. Stay locked in your room or go out for some time. It’s great when she’s generous. That’s the way she behaves towards her children and everyone else.

He further said, ‘He is very strict towards me. why do you ask me that? She will scold me when I watch this show with her.

Amitabh said, “It scares me, so I don’t talk much about my personal life.”

Jaya Bachchan is a Rajya Sabha MP from Samajwadi Party. She is known for films like ‘Sholay’, ‘Chupke-Chupke’, ‘Kora Kagaz’ and ‘Silsila’.

She was recently seen in the romantic drama ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.
