Mumbai Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap made a comeback at the Cannes Film Festival with the film ‘Kennedy’. He once again registered a stupendous response like all his previous films like ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’, ‘Ugly’, ‘Bombay Talkies’ and the two-part gangster drama ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ which made it to the event. ‘Kennedy’ received a 7-minute standing ovation at The Grand Lumière Theatre. It was screened under the midnight screenings section on Thursdays at 12:15 (France local time).

‘Kennedy’ is the story of an insomniac cop. Kashyap was joined by his friend and frequent collaborator Vikramaditya Motwane and his actors Rahul Bhatt and Sunny Leone along with Shariq Patel, Ranjan Singh, Kabir Ahuja, Bhumika Tiwari, Neeraj Joshi, Ashima Awasthi at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival along with the filmmaker.
