Ashneer Grover and Madhuri Jain told that after marriage they lived in a 1BHK flat in Mumbai. The couple visited the building and reminisced old memories. Madhuri told that when her husband used to return from work, she used to ask him to bring tomatoes from outside, but now many buildings have come up there. A lot has changed there. Nothing is like before. Reminiscing about their life 16 years ago, both told that they had shifted from Delhi to Mumbai in connection with work.

Madhuri told, ‘There was not even a table at our house. We used to eat food sitting on the ground. We bought a piece of furniture with our one month’s salary. Once Ashneer had won a bike worth 12 lakhs through a lucky draw. I asked him what else was there in the prize, then he told that there was LCD TV too. Then I told Ashneer that he had to take the same as I did not allow him to ride the bike. Along with this, Madhuri told that he was living his life in Mumbai with 48,000 salary.

She says, ‘We used to pay 16,000 as rent and in the rest of the salary we used to go to watch movies. Used to take premium seats and have good food. Not only this, we used to go to US and Canada also because then the dollar was 40 rupees. Apart from this, both also shared their special moments. Ashneer told, ‘There was nothing special. There was only one bathroom. Sometimes Madhuri said – We both used to take bath together. There was only one bathroom and there was time to go to office.

Madhuri told that when Ashneer was in Mumbai, he was very romantic. Was more expressive. We were not like that when there is some special occasion like birthday or anniversary, only then we give gifts to each other. We used to go shopping together. But once on my birthday Ashneer brought me a ring and I did not expect it at all. The couple revealed that their first pregnancy was quite complicated. The doctor had advised that she would have to abort the child as there were some complications. Madhuri told that she and her husband were ready for the baby. And when you are ready and the doctor says so, it is a bit depressing. But you don’t have any other option.
