New Delhi:The fight between BharatPe and Ashneer Grover is not new. The company’s former co-founder Ashneer has once again made serious allegations against BharatPe and the company’s CEO Bhavik Koladia. Ashneer has written a letter to the National Payments Council of India (NCPI) accusing the company’s CEO Bhavik Koladia of stealing users’ data. Apart from NPCI, Ashneer Grover has complained about this via email to Kaushik Dutta, Independent Director of BharatPe. He made a serious allegation of users data theft on Bhavik Koladia.
Ashneer Grover wrote in his complaint that Bhavik Koladia has carried out India’s biggest data theft. Ashneer said that Bhavik Koladia was also accused of credit card fraud in America. He was kept there under house arrest for 18 months. An FIR has been lodged at the Delhi airport on charges of traveling with a fake ticket on Coladia. He alleged that Bhavik, while being the tech lead in the company, had stolen the data of 150 million UPI users.
Ashneer has also given documents along with the list of his allegations. He said that giving Bhavik a second chance was his biggest mistake. BharatPe and Bhavik have termed these allegations of Ashneer Grover as wrong. He said that Ashneer is doing all this with a sense of revenge. He said that since he was fired from BharatPe. A case was filed against him in the court, due to which he is doing such an act. Apart from Bhavik, BharatPe has also denied the allegations of Ashneer. BharatPe said that the data of the users is completely secure.
