New Delhi (Uttam Hindu News)- The restrictions imposed by RBI on Paytm Payments Bank are coming into effect from tomorrow. These restrictions will have a huge impact on users. When it comes to restrictions and services, Paytm Payment Bank and Paytm are two different entities. Paytm is the brand name of One97 Communication Limited which provides services related to UPI payments. Paytm Payments Bank is a payment banking arm invested by the promoters of the company.
After Paytm got TPAP status i.e. Third Party Application Provider status from NPCI on Thursday, its UPI payment services will continue even after March 15. These services will continue to work as before, in such a situation, using Paytm, you will be able to pay your bill as before and get it recharged from your phone. A Paytm spokesperson said that users can continue to use the @Paytm handle without any interruption or hassle without any change on their part. After March 15, 2024, customers will not be able to use Fastag and NCMC cards issued by Paytm Payments Bank. There has already been a ban on recharging it. The remaining balance was allowed to be used till March 15. In such a situation, Fastag and NCMC cards will not be used from tomorrow i.e. 16 March 2024.
