Axis Bank has increased the one term FD interest rate by 15 bps for deposits below Rs 2 crore. After the revision of interest rates, Axis Bank has said that it is giving its customers the opportunity to invest in FDs for a period ranging from 7 days to 10 years. The benefit of interest rates between 3.5% to 7.20% will be given on these tenors.
According to Axis Bank, the minimum investment amount for booking an FD through internet banking or mobile banking has been fixed at Rs 5,000. At the same time, the minimum amount has been fixed at Rs 10,000 to book FD by visiting the branch. Explain that FD investment is an investment with guaranteed returns. In this, along with the facility of premature withdrawal, customers can also take loan against FD.
New interest rates on Axis Bank FD
The proposed new FD interest rates of Axis Bank will give 3.50% interest on maturity in 7 to 45 days. 4.00% interest will be given on FDs maturing in 46 to 60 days. Similarly, 4.50 percent interest has been offered on FDs with maturity of 61 days to three months. At the same time, an interest rate of 4.75% is being given on FDs with a period of 3 months to 6 months.
The bank will give an interest rate of 5.75% on FDs maturing in 6 to 9 months.
6.00% interest will be given on FDs maturing in less than 9 months to one year.
The investor will get 6.75% interest on FDs maturing in one year to four days.
Deposits maturing in one year to 5 days to less than 13 months will get 6.80 per cent interest.
The bank will give 7.10 percent interest rate on FDs of 13 months and less than two years.
Axis Bank has increased the interest rate by 15 bps from 7.05% to 7.20% on tenors less than 2 years to 30 months.
Interest Rates for Senior Citizens on Axis Bank FD
Senior citizens investing in Axis Bank FD get the benefit of additional interest rate. According to the bank, for senior citizens, interest rate between 3.50% to 7.95% is being given on FDs ranging from 7 days to 10 years. The bank said it has offered to pay the highest interest rate of 7.95% on tenors less than 2 years to 30 months.
