Ayodhya and Hindutva again on BJP’s agenda for hat-trick of victory in Lok Sabha elections

Next year, on January 22, 2024, when the idol of Lord Shri Ramlala will be consecrated in the newly constructed luxurious temple of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, along with it the dispute of five hundred years will also be reduced to the pages of history. Ram devotees are happy with the news of Pran Pratistha. At the same time, politics has also started heating up regarding this, on the basis of which it can be said that no one should be surprised if the 2024 Lok Sabha elections also revolve around Ram Lalla. Because BJP once again seems determined to do so. Anyway, Ayodhya has remained the center of politics for almost four decades. BJP has contested and won many elections in the name of Ram Lalla. If the expansion of BJP is being seen in the entire country, then the temple of Ramlala in Ayodhya has played a major role in it. Due to this, even though today a grand temple of Ramlala is being constructed in Ayodhya after the order of the Supreme Court, BJP is also not lagging behind in taking credit for it. She keeps telling her voters that if she had not been there, Ramlala’s temple would not have been built. The special thing is that BJP’s voters also believe in this claim.

However, on one hand, Ramlala temple has proved to be a milestone in the rise of BJP, while on the other hand, due to the politics of Ayodhya, many political parties have had to face downfall. The biggest reason for the plight of Congress, Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party today is that except BJP, other political parties have not been able to adjust themselves in this politics. That is why no non-BJP party wants the 2024 general elections to be fought in the name of Ram Lalla. Uneasiness can also be seen in many parties regarding this. Its hallmark was seen recently when SP National General Secretary Shivpal Yadav, who reached Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh, fiercely targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party. He said that the construction of Lord Shri Ram’s temple in Ayodhya is being done on the orders of the court, Bharatiya Janata Party has no role in it. Shivpal alleged that BJP is trying to mislead the people of the country by doing politics in the name of Lord Shri Ram. This statement of Shivpal came while meeting the media after talking to his supporters in connection with the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 in Saharanpur. During his two-day visit to Saharanpur, Shivpal met party leaders and workers in Deoband. After this he met media persons. On this occasion, Shivpal Yadav fiercely attacked the BJP government at the Center and the State. Shivpal Yadav said that the construction work of Lord Shri Ram’s temple in Ayodhya is being done on the orders of the court. BJP government has no role in this. Leaders of almost all parties are speaking the same language as Shivpal. At the same time, BJP people seem to be getting political benefit from this.

After the date of inauguration of Ram Temple was revealed, most of the Union Ministers including Prime Minister Narendra Modi are posting all the news related to Ram Lalla on their social sites. From BJP national president JP Nadda to many BJP leaders, they keep sharing videos related to Ayodhya. It is noteworthy that in the beginning of this year, it was in the month of January when Union Home Minister Amit Shah had said in a rally in Tripura that Rahul Gandhi should listen, Ramlala temple will be built in January 2024. Targeting the Congress, Amit Shah had said that during the 2019 elections, when I was the BJP President and Rahul Baba was the Congress President. He used to ask every day that the temple will be built there but will not tell the date. Amit Shah said, Rahul Baba, listen with open ears, you will find Ram temple ready in Ayodhya on January 1 next year.

On the other hand, Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Choudhary says that Ram Temple has nothing to do with politics. Indians have been worshiping Ram for thousands of years. Suddenly, Modi has become a Ram devotee and is trying to divide the country on the basis of religion. Chaudhary said why only Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been invited for the inauguration of the Ram temple to be held in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024? Leaders of opposition parties questioned whether this would become a party event just before the Lok Sabha elections? Congress leader Salman Khurshid asked whether invitations were being sent to only one party? Has it become a party event now? God belongs to everyone. Every party should have received an invitation. On one hand, non-BJP parties are angry with the fact that BJP is doing politics in the name of Ram Lalla, while on the other hand, BJP is busy behind the scenes in making the work of consecrating Ram Lalla an election event. In this series, after the consecration of Lord Shri Ram’s temple in Ayodhya on 22 January 2024, his Charan Padukas will also be placed. At present these padukas are being rotated across the country. The Padukas will reach Ayodhya on January 19 before the Pran-Pratishtha Mahotsav. These Charan Padukas are made of one kg gold and seven kg silver. These were made by Srichalla Srinivas Shastri of Hyderabad. On December 17, he was brought from Rameshwar Dham to Ahmedabad. From here it will be taken to Somnath Jyotirling Dham, Dwarkadhish city and after that to Badrinath. Srichalla Srinivas has also circumambulated the temple under construction in Ayodhya for 41 days with these Padukas in his hand.

The consecration of Shri Ram Lalla is to take place in Ayodhya on January 22, for which preparations are going on in the Mahavir Temple in Patna. Devotees attending this grand event in Ayodhya will be served delicious food from Ram’s kitchen. There are preparations to provide food to 6 lakh people every month from January 15. Ram Rasoi, which will run from 9 am to 9 pm, will become a special identity of Bihar in Ayodhya. There is also a plan to build Ram Rasoi in 10 thousand square feet in Shri Ram Mandir complex. Now the golden lamp in front of Ram Lala will also be lit with the cow ghee sent from Mahavir temple. The Hindu community living across the seven seas in America organized a car rally in Frederick City, Maryland in Washington DC. With this, the festival that will last for a month till the consecration of Ram temple has started. All the Shree devotees gathered at Anjaneya temple for the rally. Overall, BJP has again included Ayodhya and Hindutva in its agenda for the hat-trick of victory in the Lok Sabha elections.
