New Delhi: UNICEF India has announced the appointment of actor Ayushmann Khurrana as the National Ambassador. The National Award-winning actor has joined hands with UNICEF to ensure every child’s right to survive, thrive, be safe, as well as promote their voice in their decisions. Speaking on the occasion, Ayushmann Khurrana said, “It is indeed an honor for me to take forward the advocacy of child rights with UNICEF India as a National Ambassador. I am passionate about the issues facing children and teens in India. As a UNICEF Celebrity Advocate, I have interacted with children and talked about internet safety, hate speech, internet bullying with images and threats, mental health, and gender equality.
