Bank Holidays in December 2023: There are a lot of holidays in banks in the last month of the year 2023. According to the calendar issued by the Reserve Bank in the month of December, banks are going to remain closed for about 18 days state wise. Meanwhile, there is also information about strike in banks. All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA) has given this information by issuing a notice. This strike across India will start from December 4 and continue till December 11, 2023. The main demand behind the strike of bank employees is to provide adequate staff in the bank. Along with this, the number of permanent jobs has to be increased by banning outsourcing in Karmi Bank.

There will be strike in banks on these days in December

4 December- State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank and Punjab and Sindh Bank

5 December- Bank of Baroda and Bank of India

6 December- Canara Bank and Central Bank of India

7 December- Indian Bank and UCO Bank

8 December- Union Bank of India and Bank of Maharashtra

9th and 10th December- Weekly holiday of Saturday and Sunday in banks.

11 December- Private banks strike
