Actually, many festivals, festivals, anniversaries and days are falling in the month of September 2023, due to which there will be a holiday in banks and government offices.
In such a situation, according to the list of holidays of the Reserve Bank of India, banks are going to be closed for a total of 16 days including Sunday, second Saturday and fourth Saturday in different states of India.

- September 3, 2023: Sunday.
- 6 September 2023: Banks will remain closed in Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Hyderabad, Patna due to Shri Krishna Janmashtami.
- 7 September 2023: Due to Shri Krishna Janmashtami, there will be a bank holiday in Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Telangana, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Lucknow, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla and Srinagar.
- September 9, 2023: Second Saturday.
- 10 September 2023: Second Sunday.
- September 17, 2023: Sunday.
- 18 September 2023: Banks will remain closed in Bengaluru, Telangana on account of Vinayaka Chaturthi.
- September 19, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji due to Ganesh Chaturthi.
- September 20, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Kochi and Bhubaneswar on account of Ganesh Chaturthi and Nuakhai.
- September 22, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Kochi, Panaji and Trivandrum on account of Sree Narayana Guru Samadhi Divas.
- September 23, 2023: Banks will remain closed across the country due to the fourth Saturday.
- September 24, 2023: Sunday.
- September 25, 2023: Due to the birth anniversary of Shrimant Sankardev, there will be a holiday in banks in Guwahati.
- September 27, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Jammu, Kochi, Srinagar and Trivandrum on account of Milad-e-Sharif ((birthday of Prophet Mohammad).
- September 28, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Dehradun, Telangana, Imphal, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi due to Eid-e-Milad.
- September 29, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Gangtok, Jammu and Srinagar on account of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi.
