RBI has released the calendar for December, according to which there will be 11 days of holidays on festivals. Work will be halted for seven days on Sunday and Saturday.
Bank holidays in December: Along with these holidays, there is also going to be a bank strike. All India Bank Employees Association has called for a strike for 6 days across the country. This strike of different banks will be held on different dates. Punjab National Bank, Punjab and Sindh Bank, State Bank of India will go on strike on December 4. There is going to be a strike of Bank of Baroda and Bank of India on 5th December and Canara Bank and Central Bank of India on 6th December. Indian Bank, UCO Bank will halt operations on 7th and Union Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra on 8th December. There will be a strike of all private banks on 11th December.

Banks will remain closed across the country on 17th December due to Sunday.
Bank holiday in Meghalaya on 18th December due to death anniversary of U Soso Tham
There will be a bank holiday in Goa on 19th December due to Liberation Day.
Banks will remain closed across the country on the fourth Saturday, 23 December.

Banks will not open in Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya on 26 December due to Christmas celebrations.

Banks will not open in Meghalaya on December 30
Banks will remain closed across the country on 31st December due to Sunday.
