Before Diwali, government bank Punjab National Bank has given a big gift to its customers.
Punjab National Bank has changed the interest rates on fixed deposits. These changes have come into effect from November 1, 2023.
The bank has increased the interest rate on deposits of less than Rs 2 crore by 0.50 percent.
Now, Punjab National Bank will give interest ranging from 3.5 percent to 7.25 percent to general citizens, 4.0 percent to 7.75 percent to senior citizens and 4.3 percent to 8.05 percent to super senior citizens on fixed deposits of 7 days to 10 years.
PNB Bank has increased the interest on FDs of 180 days to 270 days from 5.8% to 6.25%.
Whereas, the highest interest is being given by the bank on deposits of 444 days.
On deposits of 444 days, the bank is giving 7.25% interest to general investors, 7.75% to senior investors and 8.05% to super-senior investors.
