According to a News 18 report, to help these businesses, a 300-acre plot has been identified in Channapatna, where a multi-storey business park will be built at a cost of Rs 1,200 crore. It will have eateries serving regional food including the famous Bidadi Thatte Idli and Maddur Vada. Stalls displaying handicrafts and toys of Channapatna will also find space in the park.
