New Delhi (Best Hindu News): Former COO of BharatPe, Dhruv Dhanraj Behl has resigned from his post. He was recently re-appointed as the Chief Business Officer for the Merchant Lending Division of the company.
“We would like to confirm that Dhruv Dhanraj Behl is stepping down from BharatPe to pursue his entrepreneurial passion,” a company spokesperson said in a statement. He has been an integral part of the organization and contributed to the growth of the company. We thank him for his contribution to BharatPe and wish him all the best.
BharatPe co-founder and former managing director Ashneer Grover took a dig at Dhruv Dhanraj Behl’s exit in a post on X on Wednesday. Grover said in Haryanvi language, ‘Tau, you cannot complete this task. The way you behave is like a Chaudhary (strong man). Your children have also fled from the spot so you go back now.’
On the other hand, the company has said that in a strategic move to strengthen its merchant lending operations, BharatPe has recently acquired a controlling stake in Mumbai-based Trillion Loans, a non-banking financial company (NBFC).
Under the able guidance of an experienced leadership team at BharatPe, the merchant lending business has grown significantly during the last one year. The company further said in a statement that BharatPe has a strong internal team that will continue to drive growth in the times to come.
