New Delhi. Bharti Airtel’s consolidated net profit for the third quarter of the current financial year ending December 2023 has increased by 54 percent to Rs 2,442.2 crore. The company had earned a profit of Rs 1,588.2 crore in the third quarter a year ago. In the information sent to the stock exchanges, the company said that during the third quarter of the current financial year, Airtel’s integrated operating income increased by 5.8 percent year-on-year to Rs 37,899.5 crore. Earlier in the December 2022 quarter, this figure was Rs 35,804.4 crore. During the quarter under review, Airtel’s income from India business increased by 11.4 percent year-on-year to Rs 27,811 crore. The company’s average earnings per customer (ARPU) in the country increased by 7.7 percent to Rs 208 from Rs 193 a year ago.
