Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Saturday that Vishwakarma complexes should be built in every village to strengthen the concept of making the villages of the state ‘smart villages’. According to an official statement issued here, Yogi Adityanath conducted a high-level review of the works of the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and gave necessary guidelines on the presentation of the department. He said that according to the intention of the Prime Minister, Vishwakarma complexes should be built in every village to strengthen the concept of making the villages of the state smart villages. Through this, where it will help in making the village economy self-sufficient, all the facilities will be available under one roof to the rural laborers to showcase their talent and provide services. Information about ODOP will be displayed at important places
The Chief Minister directed to display information about ODOP at other important places including Lucknow, Gorakhpur and all other major railway stations of the state, Gandhi Ashram, hotels and homestays of the tourism department. Yogi said that apart from giving information regarding One District-One Product (ODOP) scheme, facilities should also be developed for marketing these products at these places. He said that ODOP exhibitions and fairs should be organized in every district of the state for a week. The officials also informed the Chief Minister about the preparations for the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Exhibition (UP ITS 2023) to be held in Greater Noida from September 21 to 25.
