After hearing both sides, a division bench of Justice Revati Mohite Dere and Justice Prithviraj Chavan quashed the ECIR registered on 20 February 2020 and all proceedings against the Goyal couple on the grounds of being ‘illegal and contrary to law’. The magistrate’s court had accepted this report.
