Fear of increase in onion prices

People troubled by inflation during festival season
Along with onion, the price of potato has also increased in the market. In the last three days, the price of potato has also increased by two rupees to Rs 18 to Rs 20 per kg. Shortage of stock is also being said regarding the rate of potatoes. Its price may also increase further. People are facing the brunt of inflation during the festival season. The price of onion has increased due to the festival season. There are many people who have now started purchasing green vegetables other than onions. On the other hand, Civil SDO Dr. Pradeep Kumar has said that strict action will be taken against hoarders.
Onions are being sold at discounted rates
Amidst rising onion prices, Onion is being sold at cheaper prices by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. Sale of onions provided at concessional rates by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution has been started in Patna through NCCF, Patna branch. At present, it has been started from Mithapur vegetable market. Let us tell you that in the markets where the price of onion is up to Rs 60, here onion is being sold at Rs 25 per kg. On Friday, four tonnes of onion was sold at the rate of Rs 25 per kg. It has been told that onions have been sold in the city from ten vans. Onions will also be sold in other cities of the state.
