Decision taken in cabinet meeting

In the cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it has been decided to reduce the price of LPG cylinder by Rs 200 for all the people. Apart from this, now the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala Yojana are going to get a total gas subsidy of Rs 400. These people are already being given a subsidy of Rs.200.
New price applicable from 30 August
On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, gifts have been given to the mothers and sisters of the country. All the countrymen have got relief from inflation. Despite the reduction in the price, the new price of gas cylinder in the capital Patna is Rs.1001. This new price will be applicable from Wednesday 30 August i.e. from today. The new price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG gas cylinder in Patna has been Rs 1,001. At the same time, the price of gas is also Rs 900 at some places. Consumers are getting Rs 79 subsidy in the state. At present, the price of LPG cylinder used by the customers here is around Rs.1200. Whereas, its price in Patna is Rs.1001.
Union Minister praised the Prime Minister
It should be known that in Bihar also people will get subsidy of Rs.200 in gas cylinder. Along with this, the price of gas cylinder has come down by Rs 200 in every area. Union Minister Ashwini Choubey has thanked the Prime Minister for the reduction in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders in Buxar. He said that this is the gift of the Modi government to the mothers and sisters on festivals. The prices of domestic LPG cylinders have been reduced by Rs 200 per cylinder. This is a Rakshabandhan gift from the Prime Minister to the mothers and sisters of the country. With this decision, the total subsidy of Ujjwala beneficiaries will increase from Rs 200 to Rs 400. The Union Minister said that with this all-touching decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the brightness of festivals will increase further and 33 crore families of middle and general class will get great relief. Along with this, it has been decided to give free LPG cylinders to 75 lakh more poor mothers and sisters under the Ujjwala Yojana. Due to which the total number of Ujjwala beneficiaries will be 10.35 crore. Women will be able to travel for free in city buses on Raksha Bandhan
At the same time, on the auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan in Patna, the capital of Bihar, the state government has given special gifts to the women and girl students of the city, giving them the gift of free travel in the city. Women and girl students will be able to travel for free in city buses of Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) on 31 August. Women will be able to travel for free in city buses on 31st from 7 am to 8:30 pm. This facility will be available in route numbers 111, 111A, 222, 444, 555, 888, 888A, 999, 100, 200 and buses operating from Patliputra Bus Terminal. A total of 120 city buses are being operated by BSRTC on various routes in the city. These also include 13 electric buses. Women will be able to travel in city buses free of cost in different areas of the city without paying any fare.
