Bombay High Court directs Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his brother Shamasuddin not to post or upload any comments against each other on social media in light of efforts to maintain equality and resolve issues between them amicably . In fact, the actor had filed a defamation suit demanding damages of Rs 100 crore from his brother. On this, the single bench of Justice RI Chagla gave instructions.

In this matter, the bench directed Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shamasuddin Siddiqui to be present in its chamber along with their lawyers on May 3 to explore the possibility of an amicable settlement. Justice Chagla said that, in view of the negotiation of the settlement, there would be no (social media) posts against each other, no insinuations would be leveled against each other in view of the possibility of an amicable settlement. This is to maintain equity among the parties so that there are no more posts against each other.
