Box Office Collection: Karthik Aryan’s Satyaprem Katha joins 100 crore club, actor thanks audience

Satyaprem Ki Katha, whose domestic box office collections saw a drop on Monday. However, it has collected a total of 100 crores worldwide. Satyaprem Ki Katha earned Rs 2 crore at the domestic box office on Monday, the 12th day of its release. According to Sacnilk.com, the film’s total in India now stands at Rs 68.06 crore. Reports claim that with audience love and an overwhelmingly positive response, the film collected ₹2 crore on Sunday, taking its total to ₹68.06 crore in India, and crossed the ₹100 crore mark worldwide. Satyaprem Ki Katha is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Namah Pictures.

The film stars Karthik Aryan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. The film marks the second collaboration between the two after their 2022 hit horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The musical romance drama released across cinema halls on June 29. It is directed by Sameer Vidwans. The film also stars Gajraj Rao, Supriya Pathak, Rajpal Yadav and Shikha Talsania. The film was earlier titled Satyanarayan Ki Katha, which translates to The Story of Satyanarayana, another name for the Hindu god Vishnu. However, after criticism it was renamed as Satyaprem Ki Katha.
