BSP seems to be in the most trouble during the Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh.

The conch sound of Lok Sabha elections of the year 2024 is just about to happen. In Uttar Pradesh, the largest state in terms of number of seats, all the parties are aiming to win maximum seats. To achieve this goal, an independent alliance of opposition has been formed in the state in which Samajwadi Party and Congress have reached an agreement after much reluctance. Bharatiya Janata Party is talking about winning all the 80 seats riding on the wave of Ram wave and development and has decided to give tickets only to the winning candidate on each seat. BSP is still talking about contesting elections alone but the biggest problem facing it is the absence of sustainable and winnable candidates. BSP leader Mayawati no longer has confidence in her own MPs and it is being said that she is going to cut the tickets of all her 10 MPs. In such a situation, due to fear of cutting tickets and with a view to improve their politics, many MPs are trying to change sides. Have started preparing and some have even changed sides.

The biggest challenge before Mayawati in the triangular struggle is to save her previous performance. In the last 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BSP had won 10 Lok Sabha seats due to fighting with SP-RLD alliance, but now both the equation and the alliance have changed a lot. BSP MPs are leaving Mayawati one after the other.

It is also being heard that many present and former MPs of BSP are in touch with BJP and Congress. Among the BSP MPs who have changed sides so far, Afzal Ansari, brother of jailed mafia Mukhtar Ansari, has joined SP, while another famous Muslim face of BSP, Danish Ali, has joined Congress and another MP Shyam Singh, earlier this Indian. He was in touch with Janata Party but due to lack of ticket, he switched to Congress. The biggest blow to BSP has been given by its only Brahmin MP Ritesh Pandey who has now joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and there is a strong possibility that he may get a ticket from BJP.

BSP MP Ritesh Pandey was also among the group of MPs who were invited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a banquet during the budget session of Parliament. BSP MP from Ambedkar Nagar Ritesh Pandey resigned from BSP accusing the party of neglect and joined BJP moments later on the same day. Ritesh Pandey had defeated Yogi government’s Cooperation Minister Mukut Bihari Verma in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and also became MLA from Jalalpur Assembly seat under Ambedkarnagar Lok Sabha seat in 2017. His father Rakesh Pandey has also been a BSP MP from 2009 to 14 and this family is considered to have a deep influence in the area. Ritesh Pandey was the most educated MP of BSP. He graduated in International Business Management from the European Business School, London in 2005. Ritesh has established his home after love marriage with British girl Katharina. After becoming an MP, Mayawati was also made the party leader in the Lok Sabha in 2020, despite this she says that she is being neglected in the BSP, whereas a bigger truth is that since she was the MP from Ambedkar Nagar from BSP and was ignoring her party, They were not able to develop their area as per the wishes of the people and were clearly understanding their defeat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections due to Ram wave because of the way sister Mayawati boycotted the inauguration ceremony of Shri Ram temple, their survival was in danger. – The fort of Khuchi popularity also collapsed. BSP MPs also know that this time they are not going to get the votes of SP cadre. Due to beneficiary schemes, Bharatiya Janata Party has now geared up to make a dent in the vote bank of Jatav and Dalit community and Pasmanda community, the real vote bank of BSP.

Another BSP MP Sangeeta Azad is also in touch with BJP leaders. Similarly, many other BSP leaders are also said to be in touch with BJP. Meanwhile, there is also news that BSP’s Muslim MP Guddu Jamali is in touch with SP. The biggest problem facing BSP is that it does not have any promising leader to improve its falling graph. BSP had got 30 percent votes in Uttar Pradesh in the year 2007, whereas in the 2022 assembly elections, it got only 12 percent votes and only one MLA could reach the assembly. When sister Mayawati became the Chief Minister of the state, her government was full of scams and Muslim appeasement was also at its peak. Many powerful MLAs of Mayawati were also accused of committing heinous crimes like raping women. Due to his actions, BSP did not get even a single seat in 2014.

BSP leader Mayawati has declared her nephew Akash Anand as the new successor of her party, but the loyal workers of her party are not able to digest her decision completely and right now she does not have that much hold on the politics of the state. BSP leader Mayawati always remains confused and is never able to do politics with clear thoughts. Although she continues to attack the issues of women, Dalits and minorities in the name of reservation, she no longer has any appeal, although a large section of the Jatav community still calls Mayawati as their first choice.

Mayawati is a victim of political confusion. Sometimes she contests elections by making the atrocities on Brahmins an issue. When she is unable to win the elections, she forgets the Brahmin society. The biggest problem of his politics is the vote bank of the Muslim community. In fact, this is the same Mayawati who had promised the Muslim community to build Babri Masjid in Ayodhya to sharpen minority appeasement in the last assembly elections and had got a 50-page booklet published. Anti-Hindu Sanatan statements can still be seen on the BSP website. The basic idea of BSP is anti-Hindu and they insult Hindu gods and goddesses and in remote villages, BSP workers keep provoking Jatav and other Dalit communities. BSP sometimes raises slogans against Tilak, Scales and Sword and then also says Jai Shri Ram in 2022 assembly elections to improve its ground. The people of the country have understood these illusive leaders very well. BSP has marked its political end by boycotting the Pran Pratistha ceremony in Ayodhya and this is the reason why good MPs and leaders of BSP are now leaving the party to prepare to improve their political future.
