Budget 2023: Budget session of Bihar Legislature from February 24

Patna : The budget session of the Bihar Legislature will begin on February 24. A decision to this effect was taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday. In the meeting, the Cabinet approved a total of 24 proposals including creation of 321 new posts in various departments.
According to the decision of the cabinet, now in all the medical college hospitals of the state as well as in the Sadar and Sub-Divisional hospitals, the work of supply, washing and cleaning of the articles of the poor patients will be done through the community organization Jeevika. Along with this, the cabinet has given its approval for planning areas in 10 cities of the state namely Arwal, Supaul, Sonpur, Sheikhpura, Banka, Gopalganj, Jehanabad, Madhepura Nawada and Bhagalpur so that these areas can be developed in an integrated and planned manner.
Additional Chief Secretary of the Cabinet Secretariat Department, S. Siddharth said that the cabinet has approved Rs 296 crore for the left and right embankments of Kamla Balan and Rs 2 crore for the Mahila Charkha Committee Kadamkuan. And in Samastipur, 25 posts were sanctioned for Karpuri village police station.
