Bumper recruitment in SEBI, will appoint 97 officers, applications invited

New Delhi: Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has invited applications to recruit 97 officers in various departments this year. The capital markets regulator had earlier invited applications for appointment to 25 senior posts in June last year. SEBI, in a public notification released this month, has invited applications from Indian citizens for the post of Class A (Assistant Manager) Officer for General, Law, Information Technology, Engineering Electrical, Research and Official Part segments.
SEBI will appoint 62 posts in the general section, 24 in Information Technology, five in the law team and two each in the engineering electrical, research and official language departments. According to the notice issued by SEBI, the selection will be done in three phases. In the first phase, there will be an online examination in which there will be two question papers. Candidates selected in this stage will appear for the second stage.
This will also happen in online examinations, which will have two question papers. Candidates selected in the second stage will be called for interview. SEBI has been increasing the number of its employees for the last few years.
