Government gives subsidy for caravan bus
The Kerala government gives a subsidy of up to Rs 7.5 lakh for making a caravan bus. Actually, there is a provision of subsidy in the Caravan Tourism Policy of Kerala for making Caravan Bus. Caravan builders are provided subsidy ranging from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 7.5 lakh. Along with this, the Motor Vehicle Department also gives relaxation from some rules so that the entrepreneurs can come forward to increase the caravan tourism.
