CAT’s National General Secretary Praveen Khandelwal said in a statement issued on Saturday that Roop Chaturdarshi is being celebrated across the country today in connection with the Diwali festival. Khandelwal said that there is great recognition of buying cosmetics on this day. Apart from other things, women especially buy beauty cosmetics and other cosmetics on this day. According to CAT, today branded and non-branded cosmetics worth Rs 15 thousand crore have been sold across the country.

CAT General Secretary said that today a large quantity of clay lamps made by potters and local artists, idols of God made of clay, pictures of Vandanwar, auspicious benefits, strings of artificial flowers, pictures of each sign of the auspicious feet of Goddess Lakshmi etc. Will also be purchased. According to an estimate, these goods worth about Rs 2 thousand crores were sold across the country. Khandelwal said that after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call of Vocal for Local this Diwali, there is a huge increase in the sales of these items.

Khandelwal said that tomorrow there will be a big business of fruits and flowers for Diwali puja and decorating homes across the country. He said that flowers worth about Rs 5 thousand crores will be sold in the country. Among these flowers, especially lotus flower, rose, marigold, tuberose, mogra, Kaner, Godavari and jasmine are sold more. He said that traders in Delhi and across the country will worship Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha at their shops and keeping in mind the increasing use of technology in the purchasing behavior of customers, this time traders will use biometric machines, payment devices and mobile phones in Diwali Puja. Auspicious time for Diwali worship

CAT General Secretary said that on Diwali, apart from Ganesh ji, Lakshmi ji, Kuber ji and Hanuman ji, laptops, computers, printers will also be worshiped in the traditional way and wishes for growth in business will be made. Chairman of CAT’s Astrology and Vedic Committee and famous Veda connoisseur Acharya Durgesh Tare told that there are many auspicious times for Diwali puja. He told that on Diwali, Lakshmi Puja will be done from 08:01 am to 12:11 pm, from 1:34 to 2:57 pm, from 5:44 to 10:34 pm and from 1:48 to 3 midnight: Can be done till 24 hrs.
