Sources gave this information on Tuesday. Official sources said Tesla is showing interest in foraying into the Indian market and is exploring the possibility of setting up a complete supply chain here in the long term. Representatives of Tesla, a company owned by American billionaire Elon Musk, visited India in May and held talks with several government departments.
An official source said, “We have made it clear at our level that imports are not our priority. The company is in big talks about creating the entire supply chain.
