In his recent post on Instagram, Kunal Kapoor revealed that he will be making a vegetarian version of Khichda, a dish that is traditionally made with meat. He shared that he will use mushrooms instead of meat to bring out the meat flavor in this dish.

G20 summit will become Khichra
One of the highlights of Chef Kunal’s cooking for the G20 summit was preparing a vegetarian version of Khichra, a dish traditionally made with meat. By using mushrooms, he will give it a meaty flavor while keeping it completely vegetarian. Additionally, the inclusion of jowar khichra and delicious shorba with salad shows their ability to re-imagine classic food with a fusion.

Special menu prepared
Murmu will host a gala dinner at the Bharat Mandapam after the end of the first day of the summit. Another source said that the menu details have not been made public, but the taste of the Indian dishes served to the heads of state will be something that they will remember for a long time. Special silver utensils will be used

A Jaipur-based metal utensils manufacturing company on Tuesday said that many luxury hotels have specially prepared silverware and other utensils which will be used by foreign delegates staying at their establishments. The company had said that 200 artisans have prepared about 15,000 silver utensils for the summit.
