These RPET bottles are made from food grade recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The plastic has been recycled and new PET bottles have been manufactured as per the technology approved by the American FDA and European Food Safety Authority for food grade recycled material. This has reduced the need for virgin plastic to make PET bottles.
Speaking on the launch of Coca-Cola in RPET, Paritosh Ladhani, Managing Director, SLMG Beverages Limited, said, “We have created the first bottle for Coca-Cola in India, and we feel proud to be one of the first companies to bottle the RPET variant. Used to be. “We are committed to sustainability and SLMG strives to drive meaningful change and build a sustainable future.”
