Corona infection has been troubling the world for the last three years, no one is in a position to say anything about how long the corona infection will last, but the discussion about the changing nature of corona is going on globally. Corona has now appeared in front of the world in the form of Long Corona. Studies around the world say that the disease can last from six months to a year. However, Long Covid is a reality. Some practitioners have said that this is still happening to some people. It is still happening to some people with symptoms like dry cough, digestive problems, headache, insomnia, lack of concentration etc. Experts say that it is important to understand Long Kovid and a protocol should be made for the treatment of such patients. Doctors have found that long Covid symptoms have been found in patients with high diabetes, months after recovering from the infection. Some patients had a persistent cough, as well as shortness of breath.

Even though when he had corona, the effect of infection on his lungs was not visible. According to a recent study by researchers from the Research Collaborative and the Scripps Research Translational Institute in La Jolla, California, one of the earliest symptoms of long Covid was still present in patients after three months. The study concluded that 65 million patients worldwide, or 10% of the 651 confirmed cases of COVID-19, have chronic COVID-19. In the case of hospitalized patients, this rate rises to 50-70 per cent. Researchers from Britain’s University of East Anglia wanted to find out what factors might make people more or less susceptible to prolonged Covid and looked at data from 41 studies involving more than 860,000 people. They concluded that women, elderly, high BMI and smokers are at risk of long Covid. Patients with asthma, type-2 diabetes, heart disease, anxiety and depression are also at higher risk. However, people who have got anti-coronavirus vaccine are less at risk.

It is worth mentioning that due to Long Kovid, unusual side effects like hair loss, loss of memory have also come to the fore in the world. In view of the above facts, negligence towards corona infection can prove fatal. Therefore, take the warnings given regarding corona infection seriously and do not do any negligence.
