DA Hike: Ministry issued order, increase in DA of employees, benefits will be available from October

There is good news for the employees. His dearness allowance has been increased. Orders have been issued for this. For this, orders have also been issued by the ministry. Under the order, they will be given the benefit of increased dearness allowance from October.
Actually, the rates of variable dearness allowance have been revised for employees working in the agricultural sector. These amendments will come into effect from October 1, 2023. Due to this the consumer price index has increased to 385.97. As a result, an increase of 7.39 points has been recorded in VDA.
In such a situation, the salary of the employees has been divided into three categories.
Dearness allowance will be paid at the rate of Rs 147 per day to unskilled category A workers, Rs 159 per day to semi-skilled workers, Rs 147 per day to skilled and clerical workers and Rs 191 per day to highly skilled workers.
Dearness allowance will be paid at the rate of Rs 135 per day to unskilled category B workers, Rs 147 per day to semi-skilled workers, Rs 159 per day to skilled and clerical workers and Rs 179 per day to highly skilled workers.
Dearness allowance will be paid at the rate of Rs 133 per day to unskilled category C workers, Rs 136 per day to semi-skilled workers, Rs 147 per day to skilled and clerical workers and Rs 159 per day to highly skilled workers.
Payment of salary per day, area wise category
In such a situation, workers will be paid daily wages as per area wise category.
- A category A unskilled worker will be paid Rs 480 at the rate of Rs 333 + Rs 147. Semi-skilled workers will be paid Rs 523 at the rate of Rs 364 + Rs 159. Skilled and clerical workers will be paid on the basis of Rs 569 per day. Rs 395 + Rs 174, while highly skilled workers will be paid Rs 629 per day on the basis of Rs 438 + Rs 191.
- B category unskilled workers will be paid Rs 438 at the rate of Rs 303 + Rs 135. Semi skilled workers will be paid Rs 482 at the rate of Rs 335 + Rs 147. Skilled and clerical workers will be paid on the basis of Rs 523 per day. Rs 364 + Rs 159, while highly skilled workers will be paid Rs 586 per day on the basis of Rs 407 + Rs 179.
- C category unskilled laborer will be paid Rs 433 at the rate of Rs 300+133. Semi-skilled workers will be paid Rs 443 at the rate of Rs 307 + Rs 136. Skilled and clerical workers will be paid Rs 481 per day on the basis of Rs 334 + Rs 147, while high skilled workers will be paid Rs 523 per day. On the basis of Rs 364+159.
