The total increase in Pay Band 3 is to be Rs 720 per month. Means they will also get arrears of Rs 720X2=1440 for January and February.
Pensioners will get benefits
If the Modi government makes an announcement, then lakhs of pensioners of the country will also get its benefit. Along with Dearness Allowance (DA Hike), they can also be increased by 4% in Dearness Relief (DR Hike). This means that pensioners will also be paid dearness relief at the rate of 42% by the central government. Under the 7th Pay Commission, the Modi Government has done the work of increasing the money of the employees and pensioners.
