DDA may discontinue the ‘first come first serve’ scheme which was running for a few months under the old scheme. There are 16 thousand flats in this scheme, which people can book according to their needs. To avoid confusion, DDA is considering to discontinue this scheme for some time. With these new flats, now the number of flats unsold by DDA has increased to 40 thousand.
Why are flats not being sold?
Some old scheme flats of DDA are expensive. Also, due to poor connectivity of the location, they are not able to sell. DDA has started work on the plan to increase facilities here to sell these flats. According to the DDA, the condition of roads around these flats is being improved. There water line, sewage treatment facility is being improved. Along with this, the Rithala-Bawana-Narela corridor of Metro Phase-4 is being given connectivity to Narela.
