Deendayal Upadhyaya Birth Anniversary: ​​India became strong and prosperous through integral humanism.

In independent India, every person should get respect and proper place, our India should become a world leader, there should be happiness on the face of the person standing at the last rung of the society, our cultural identity should remain intact, this was the thinking of the saint of Indian politics, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay ji. For this, he gave the ideology of integral humanism and the philosophy of Antyodaya to the country which was in a state of uncertainty after attaining independence. The seeds he had sown to change the direction and condition of the country have now started bearing fruit. Today, the work of giving concrete shape to his thoughts and realizing his vision is being done by his ideological successor and the successful Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Just as Deendayal ji had no personal life due to his engrossment in nation building and public service, in the same way Narendra Modi, considering himself not the Prime Minister but a principal servant, has made the government a medium of service for the happiness of the last person. Only a worthy successor can honor his ancestors and realize their dreams and Narendra Modi, inspired by his ancestors, is helping in realizing their dreams by showing respect to Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji. Leaving no stone unturned.

Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s aim was to provide a purely Indian vision for the efforts to reconstruct independence. He presented the eternal ideology of India in a contemporary form and gave the ideology of integral humanism to a country like India. His view was that the main objective of economic development should be the happiness of the common man. He said that the human group living in India and having a sense of belonging and respect for it is one people. Be it their way of life, art, literature or philosophy, all together is Indian culture. Therefore, this culture is the basis of Indian nationalism. India will remain united only if there is loyalty to this culture. For the qualitative upliftment of any individual or society, not only the economic and social aspects but also its all-round development is essential.

Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay ji was of the opinion that without removing the poverty and illiteracy of the nation, no kind of qualitative progress is possible. When Bharatiya Jana Sangh was established by Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee in 1951, Deendayal ji, as the first General Secretary, showed political skills and organizational ability. Impressed by his amazing organizational ability, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee had to say that if I could find two such Deendayals, I would change the political map of the country. In 1967, he was appointed as the President of Jan Sangh, but unfortunately he could work for only 44 days. He was brutally murdered on 11 February 1968.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also taking the country forward on the basis of the same thinking. Keeping Integral Humanism at its core, the Modi Government at the Center is working for the upliftment of the weak and poor section of the society with the resolve of upliftment and development of the poorest of the poor. For the last nine years, the government running under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has realized Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s philosophy of integral humanism and the ideology of Antyodaya with its goal of poor welfare. The Central Government is continuously working for Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas. The direct impact of Narendra Modi’s government is that the poor, the deprived, the exploited, the victims as well as the people standing at the last rung of the society are getting the maximum benefits of Antyodaya schemes. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay ji had shown the path of providing quality to individual and community life, which has been paved by Modi ji’s government at the Centre. In the present times, it has become necessary to assimilate the values ​​and values ​​emanating from integral humanism in social life. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay ji gave importance to cooperation, coordination and co-existence in every aspect of his life, whether he was a thinker, editor, philosopher or economist. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, the father of Antyodaya, also provided the right vision to give priority to shared social responsibilities for promoting the welfare of the deprived sections of the society and the country. Apart from being a successful editor who vocalized the nationalist voice as the successful editor of nationalist magazines like Rashtradharma, Panchjanya and Swadesh, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay’s personality was full of sensitivity, hence he was also a successful litterateur and a sensitive thinker dedicated to human welfare. .

This is the reason why Prime Minister Narendra Modi has established many research institutes in the name of such a great thinker of Indian politics, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, with the aim of giving the country the benefit of his thoughts and thinking. According to his thinking, many schemes have been run which have benefited the common people. These include Deendayal Upadhyay Self-Employment Scheme, Deendayal Upadhyay Home Housing Development Scheme, Deendayal Upadhyay Farmers Welfare Scheme, Deendayal Upadhyay Rasoi Yojana, Deendayal Upadhyay Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme etc. Apart from this, many state governments have also launched many public welfare schemes in his name.

The Modi government at the Center and the BJP-ruled state governments have established several institutions in his name to keep his memory alive. His memory has been kept alive by naming the Mughalsarai station, where he was brutally murdered, as Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Junction. Rail travel has been made convenient and easy for the economically weaker people by operating Deendayalu coach in the trains. His life-size statue has been installed in the Deendayal Upadhyaya Udyan near the central office of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the world’s largest political party, which is to be unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 25 September 2023, on the birth anniversary of Panditji.

Today the whole world is looking towards India with hopeful eyes. The reason behind this is definitely the Narendra Modi government’s policies based on integral humanism and the work done on the basis of Antyodaya.
