Rajkot: India’s wicketkeeper-batsman Dhruv Jurel and middle-order batsman Sarfaraz Khan are likely to make their Test debut in the third Test against England in Rajkot. Dhruv Jurel was seen practicing wicketkeeping in the first practice session before the third Test.
Dhruv Jurel may get a chance in place of Bharat who is going through poor form. KS Bharat played the first two Tests against England and some former cricketers advised the selectors to find a replacement for him. In the first two matches, KS Bharat had scored 102 runs, in which his highest score was 41 runs.
Sarfaraz Khan, who was included in the Indian team after the injuries of KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja in the first test, can be seen making his debut in the longer format of the game. Sarfaraz spent most of the first practice session batting in the nets. He was also practicing slip fielding by being deployed at first slip.
