Discussed with Goyal regarding projects in India: Emaar Properties CEO – Dainik Savera Times

Dubai: Real estate group Emaar Properties Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Amit Jain on Friday said that discussions have been held with Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal regarding various projects in several states of India and the company may make some announcements at the ‘Vibrant Gujarat Summit’. The 10th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Conference will be held in January next year which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Goyal, who is on a two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has held several meetings with entrepreneurs and senior leaders to promote bilateral trade and investment between the two countries. After the bilateral meeting with Goyal, the CEO of Emaar Group “We are looking at many areas where we can expand in many areas related to real estate,” he told reporters.

Vibrant Gujarat is also coming, announcements can be made there. He said, “India is a big investment destination for Emaar and we would like to continue investing there in the future. Jain said, we talked about the investments already made. We also discussed what Emaar can do in India. We talked about Vibrant Gujarat. He talked about possible investments in Sabarmati Riverfront and Kevadiya in Gujarat.

I think these are very exciting projects. Without giving details of any specific project in India, he said that Emaar is the largest investor in the real estate sector in India and the company wants to make its investment successful. Jain said, we discussed many projects in North India and other states. We are working on this so that we can do something big in India. Goyal also held a meeting with Sharafuddin Sharaf, vice chairman of Sharaf Group, which is in the logistics business.
