Disproportionate asset case filed against OSD of Greater Noida Authority

Greater Noida: A case has been registered against Ravindra Singh Yadav, OSD (Officer on Special Duty) of Greater Noida Authority, on charges of disproportionate assets. This action has been taken on the orders of the government. After the investigation that lasted for about four years, the Vigilance Inspector has filed a case against the OSD in the Vigilance Police Station of Meerut in this matter. Vigilance investigation has confirmed that he has earned 158.61 percent more money than his income. His tenure of 24 years was investigated by Vigilance. Due to the registration of this case against the OSD, there has been a stir among the officials of the authority. This case has been filed on behalf of Vigilance Inspector Sunil Kumar Verma.
It states that on January 2, 2019, on the orders of the government, an inquiry was ordered against the then Officer on Special Duty of Noida Authority and at present the Officer on Special Duty of Greater Noida Authority. After thorough investigation, the vigilance had sent the report to the government and after getting permission from the government, this case was registered. In this, it is alleged that during the stipulated period of investigation, he earned a total income of Rs 94 lakh 49 thousand 888, while an expenditure of Rs 2 crore 44 lakh 38 thousand 547 was incurred by the OSD. He had spent 1 crore 49 lakh 88 thousand 659 i.e. 158.61 percent more than his income. According to vigilance, Ravindra did not give any satisfactory answer to the investigating officer in this regard. He could not provide any record of his additional income.
