The last trading session of the week has been very good for the Indian stock market. In today’s trading, both Sensex and Nifty indices closed on the green mark. Sensex closed at 72,426 points with a jump of 376 points or 0.52 percent, Nifty closed at 22,040 points with a jump of 130 points or 0.59 percent. In today’s business, there has been a rise in the stocks of IT, Auto, Pharma, Banking, FMCG, Metals, Real Estate, Media, Consumer Durables, Healthcare sectors. Whereas only Oil & Gas and Energy stocks have seen a decline.
NIFTY top gainers
On NSE Nifty, WIPRO shares are seen rising by 4.52 per cent, SBILIFE by 4.17 per cent, M&M by 4.13 per cent, ADANIPORTS by 3.40 per cent and BAJAJ-AUTO by 2.72 per cent.
Breakdown seen in these NIFTY shares
On NSE Nifty, a decline of 2.54 percent was seen in POWERGRID, 0.58 percent in BRITANNIA, 0.57 percent in SBIN, 0.55 percent in NTPC and 0.55 percent in RELIANCE.
