New Delhi. EESL, a public sector company providing energy saving solutions, on Tuesday also announced the expansion of its product portfolio with the launch of six watt LED bulbs. The company said that this bulb will save about 30 percent in electricity consumption. According to a statement, LED bulbs will be available to consumers under the affordable lighting scheme ‘Ujala’.
Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) said the tender process for LED bulbs, LED tube lights and BLDC fans has been completed for wider access to energy-efficient products. EECL is a joint venture under the Ministry of Power. These products will be available to consumers through EESL Mart, an online platform dedicated to promoting sustainable products. Vishal Kapoor, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), EESL, said in the statement, “We aim to take these energy-efficient products to every household in the country through our strong retail network and strategic partnerships.
