Efforts are being made to create a false narrative about India, everyone needs to be alert

After looking at the recently released data related to development in various sectors in India, it is noticed that the Indian economy is now running fast on track. But, there is no mention anywhere in the media of the country about the new records being created continuously in the economic sector of India. On the contrary, employment opportunities are not increasing in the country, the poor are going into the category of extreme poor, the rate of inflation is increasing, hunger is increasing, violence is increasing, minorities are being oppressed, etc. A lot of effort is being made to create discussion on the subjects.

India has a history of creating false discourse. Even during the British rule, many attempts were made to create false ideas, such as any idea that came from the West is scientific and modern, India is a country of snake charmers and illiterate poor class resides in it, Sanatan Indian culture is conservative and unscientific. Urbanization is a major medium of development, therefore only urbanization should be promoted, bypassing rural development, among urban, rural and tribal, urban areas are more important from the point of view of economic development, due to knowing foreign language citizens Self-confidence increases, more importance should be given to logic than culture, more importance should be given to individual and society i.e. individualism should be promoted (concept of capitalism), person who works less is considered more intelligent, on Sanatan Hindu culture To look down upon everything based like Diwali firecrackers harm the environment, Holi festival is a waste of water. Overall, Hindu traditions based on Sanatan Indian culture are being continuously attacked today by western countries.

Contrary to the discourse being created against India by western countries and many foreign institutions, India is continuously moving forward in the economic field. The service sector has a very important place in India’s development because more than 60 percent of the country’s GDP remains in the service sector and the service sector also has an important place in providing new employment opportunities and the service PMI related to it. The figures for the month of July 2023 have come. S&P Global’s India Services Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) stood at 62.3 in July, which is a 13-year high, reflecting the impressive growth in India’s services sector. Exports from the services sector are also growing at a very fast pace. The Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) has expressed hope that services exports from India could reach $400 billion in the financial year 2023-24. According to the preliminary data of the Ministry of Commerce, in the financial year 2022-23, exports in the services sector from India have reached 42 percent more i.e. $ 323 billion from $ 254 billion in the financial year 2021-22. The chairman of the council has said that for the financial year 2022-23, a target of $ 300 billion was set for exports from the services sector, while in reality it has been $ 323 billion.

In the field of tax collection also, new records are being created in India. The Goods and Services Tax collection in the month of July 2023 has been Rs 1.65 lakh crore, earning a growth rate of 11 percent, which was Rs 1.49 lakh crore in the month of July 2022 and Rs 1.61 lakh crore in the month of June 2023. For the financial year 2023-24, the central government has set a target of Rs 9.56 lakh crore for the collection of Goods and Services Tax. Similarly, the number of citizens filing income tax returns for FY 2022-23 has increased to 6.77 crore as on July 31, 2023, which is 16.1 per cent higher as compared to 5.83 crore returns filed for FY 2021-22. . It is a matter of joy that this year 53.67 lakh citizens have filed income tax return for the first time, which means that the awareness of paying tax is increasing in India and the poor class is now coming in the middle class category. Energy consumption in India has increased by 8.4 percent in the month of July 2023 to cross the level of 13,900 crore units, which is a record in itself.

Economic activities are progressing rapidly in India, it is also proved by the fact that there is a tremendous boom in the loans being provided by the banks in India. In the month of June 2023, an increase of 16.3 percent has been recorded in non-food grains loans of banks, whereas in the month of May 2023, an increase of 15.6 percent was recorded. A 20 percent growth has been recorded in the agriculture sector, 27 percent in the service sector and 8.1 percent in the industry sector. Also, a growth of 8.2 percent has been achieved by the 8 basic sectors of India in the month of June 2023. The steel industry has achieved a growth rate of 21.9 percent, while the growth rate in the coal and cement sector has been more than double. The growth rate has been good in 7 out of 8 sectors.

India has today become the second largest steel producer globally, surpassing Japan in the field of steel production. Rs 34,800 crore has been saved by India in steel sector by reducing imports as about 60 million tonnes of crude steel capacity has been added in India. India’s steel production capacity was 109.85 MT in the year 2014-15, which has increased to 160.30 MT in the year 2022-23. Thus, now the total production of steel has increased from 88.98 MT to 126.66 MT.

Misconceptions are being spread about India, ignoring the various achievements being made by India in various fields. Like, if Indians do something new then it is called ‘Jugaad’ and if China does something new then it is called ‘reverse engineering’. Every step of the West is scientific, but Indian Ayurveda needs to prove everything. The incomplete study of the West is also in the category of science, but many ancient scientific facts of India are also considered orthodox. There is no place for the sentimentality of the individual in the Western ideology, only the technical is considered. Similarly, there is hue and cry about child labor in India by Western countries, but in their own countries, children below the age of 16 also participate in many competitions, but in their eyes it does not come under the category of child labor. . In India, if children below the age of 16 start mastering the art of their traditional occupation, then it is considered as child labor. Why is this dual policy discussion raised in the context of India?

There is a need to break this campaign (false discourse) being run against India by western countries today. For this, keeping each of their discussions separately, they have to be broken in different ways. For example, if a woman following Indian traditions does not wear bindi in an advertisement, then people will not buy that product, if Indian culture and spirituality is made fun of in a film, then the Indian society will boycott that film. Appropriate retribution should also be made against the propaganda being done against Indian festivals, such as burning crackers on Diwali causing damage to the environment, water being wasted on Holi, milk being shed on Shivratri, etc. We have to understand that Indian traditions have been going on since time immemorial and this culture believes in the principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. Therefore, if peace is to be established in the whole world, then only philosophy based on Indian culture can be helpful in this, it will benefit the whole world.
