Elon Musk will do messages and audio-video calling from X only, will switch off the phone number; Know the reason
New Delhi (Uttam Hindu News): Tech billionaire Elon Musk, while promoting the audio/video calling feature of X, said that he will switch off his phone number, will only use social media platform X for audio and video calls. “In a few months, I’ll turn off my phone number and use X for texts and audio/video calls,” Musk wrote on Musk’s move is being seen as an effort to boost the audio and video calling capabilities of the X. These features were released in October last year, since then Musk has been actively pushing to make X a ubiquitous app.
This feature was launched in October last year. Which was made available to selected users. Last month, the microblogging platform launched the feature for Android users to make audio and video calls directly from the app. Responding to Musk’s post, many users shared their views. One user wrote, Elon Musk in 2027 – I am no longer using my phone for text or audio visuals. I am using my Brainwaves and Neural Flow Link 47.2.
Another user said, “Will it be encrypted or will Alphabet agencies be listening. Another user mentioned, where will you get OTP for bank transactions? Meanwhile, X has topped Apple’s App Store charts in terms of downloads. “X is now the most downloaded app of any kind,” Musk posted.
