How to do e-nomination
To do e-nomination in EPFO, first open the EPFO Member e-Seva portal and login to the account by entering your UAN, password and captcha. After this, first select Manage in the menu above and then select the option of e-nomination from there. After this a new page will open. Here, select the option to register a new nomination. After this, you will see the profile on the screen. Click on proceed here. After this, on the next screen, upload the nominee’s Aadhaar number, name, gender, date of birth, relationship, bank account details and guardian (if the nominee is a minor), and the nominee’s photo. After this, give details of his/her relationship with you and the percentage of claim amount etc. After this save it.
It is necessary to link UAN number with Aadhaar number.
It is very important for EPFO members to link the UAN number in the account with the Aadhaar number. Along with this, employees who have opened a new account or made any changes in the account details are also required to link Aadhaar. To link Aadhaar, first go to EPFO website. Login there by giving the required information and go to your account. Click on KYC under Manage menu. Select the Aadhaar option and enter your details. After this click on save. Here it will be verified using UIDAI data. After completion of KYC, Aadhaar will be linked to the EPF account.
