This FIR is against a company, in which it is alleged that a fake product is being sold in the name of Fortune Oil brand. Adani Wilmar sells edible oils under the Fortune brand across the country.
This fake brand was detected when the edible oil company conducted a regular market survey. In this regard, the company has also issued a statement stating that an FIR has been registered against the B2B platform for manufacturing and selling counterfeit products. This FIR has been done at Badalpur police station in Gautam Budh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh. In this regard, the Adani Group said that raids were conducted at the company’s warehouse and counterfeit products in the name of Adani’s oil were seized from there. The company said that the company is concerned about the abundance of counterfeit products in the market and the health of the consumers. For this reason the company has filed a complaint.
According to the information, in this raid, the police team has found a small amount of Fortune brand oil, which has been seized. 126 bottles of Fortune Kachi Ghani Mustard Oil have been found in it. Apart from this, 37 pouches of 1 liter have also been seized. Many bottles and packets of Refined Soyabean Oil and Fortune Mustard Oil in 1 liter pack have also been found by the police team. The police have seized all the goods.
