First Mayor Aruna Shankar welcomed the chief guest and Simran Ahuja. Other guests were welcomed by the members of the women’s wing of the chamber. On this occasion, Mrs. Shankar said that for the first time in the city, Dandiya Night has been organized on such a large scale on the occasion of Navratri. Along with Simran Ahuja, thousands of women danced to the tune of Dandiya under the stage. Most of the women present at the program were dressed in traditional Dandiya attire. Children were also included in these.
