‘Gadar 2’ releasing on August 11, actor Utkarsh Sharma will watch first day first show

Mumbai (Best Hindu News): Actor Utkarsh Sharma, who was seen as a child artist in the 2001 film ‘Gadar’, will now be seen as an adult in ‘Gadar 2’. The actor said that he along with the audience is going to watch the film ‘First Day First Show’ on a single screen.Utkarsh is quite excited for his film ‘Gadar 2’ which is slated to hit the theaters on August 11.
Sharing his excitement about the film, the actor said, “I am very excited about the film. I am going to watch ‘First Day First Show’ on single screen like Gaiety, Maratha Mandir. I will enjoy it with the audience and see their reactions.”
Talking about how he managed to bag the role of a child artist 22 years ago, he said, “Both parts in Gadar were worthwhile for me. In the first part, Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol had already shot their parts and my father had not yet selected the child artist. At that time Ameesha Mam told my father that you take your son. At first my father refused, as he wanted me to concentrate on my studies then. But when they couldn’t find any other child actor, they asked me if I wanted to play that role. At first I said no but then seeing him worried I said yes.
The actor said, “’Gadar 2′ was not planned at all. It was during Covid when Shaktimaan ji came up with the idea of the script. My father liked it so much that he dropped the idea of other projects and said that now I just want to make this film.
He narrated the script to me and I also said that I want to do this film. Then Sunny sir, Zee Studios all came together on the same day. Everyone liked the script. I feel very fortunate to have got the opportunity to be a part of this film.”
Gadar 2: The Katha Continues is a period action drama film directed and produced by Anil Sharma. It is a sequel to the 2001 blockbuster film ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’. The film starring Sunny, Ameesha, Utkarsh will hit the theaters on August 11.
