Garuda Aerospace’s Drone Yatra 2.0 crosses the halfway mark

Chennai: Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) player Garuda Aerospace’s Drone Yatra 2.0 has crossed the halfway mark last year. A top official has given this information. Drone Yatra 2.0 has covered a total distance of 388 districts and 1,92,309 kms in various states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Punjab, West Bengal, Bihar and others.
Agneswar Jayaprakash, Founder and CEO, Garuda Aerospace said, “We are halfway through our Drone Yatra 2.0 and it has been an incredible experience meeting our farmers and enthusiastic youth. Our biggest goal with this initiative was to create maximum impact and introduce the technology to the farmers by conducting demo sessions at the grass root level. This is one of the biggest farmer contact programs in the country.
The first edition of the Kisan Drone Yatra was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in February last year. Version 2.0 of the Yatra was flagged off by Union Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur in December 2022. The company said that Garuda Aerospace has already launched 357 Dealerships have been signed and a total of 6,398 drones have been delivered through 292 purchase orders.
