Recently, at the inauguration ceremony of ‘Energy Revolution: Adani Green Energy Corridor’ at the Science Museum in London, Gautam Adani had said that his group’s renewable energy arm, Adani Green Energy, is leading an energy transition. Electricity production has started
Adani Green Energy Limited (AGELS) said in the information given to the stock market on Friday that the operation of the projects has been started after getting the relevant approvals. According to the statement, Adani Green Energy, through its various wholly owned subsidiaries, has started operation of projects with a total capacity of 775 MW in Khavda, Gujarat. The company said that power generation from this project has started from March 29. Due to the successful launch of this project of the company, action can be seen in the company’s stock on Monday.

How the company’s stock performed
The stock of Adani Green Energy Limited closed at Rs 1,830 with a rise of 0.41 percent or Rs 7.50 on the last trading day of this financial year. However, in the last one month the company’s stock has given a negative return of 3.43 percent to the investors. Whereas, in the last six months, investors have got a tremendous return of 87.89 percent. The company has given investors a return of 107 percent on an annual basis. A year ago, on March 31, 2023, the company stock price was Rs 881.15. Whereas, in the last five years, the company’s stock has given investors an unimaginable return of 4,893.18 percent. On April 05, 2019, the company’s stock price was only Rs 36.65.
