New Delhi (Uttam Hindu News): Google has introduced the reaction feature on emails with emoji on Android devices. The feature will gradually roll out to Android users and will be available to web and iOS users over the next few months. On your Android device, express yourself and instantly respond to emails with emojis, the company said in an update. In Gmail, you can find the emoji reaction option on every single message.
Google said, “Open the message you want to reply to.” Tap the reaction emoji below the message. From the picker, select the emoji you want to use. For more emoji, tap ‘Select More’. The emoji you selected will appear at the bottom of the email.”
To see who reacted to an email, touch and hold the emoji reaction you want to check. To reuse a reaction that someone else added to an email, tap an existing reaction chip. Depending on your “Undo Sent” settings in Gmail, you have 5 to 30 seconds to remove an emoji reaction after you add it.
According to Google, to remove an emoji reaction, tap ‘Undo’ in the notification below your message. You can change the “undo cent” period only on your computer. However, there are some restrictions on sending emojis.
You won’t be able to use emoji reactions with your school or work account. Emoji reactions won’t be available if the message is sent to more than 20 people, if you’re BCCed to a group email list, and in some other cases. Most importantly, you will not be able to send a reaction to a message if you have already sent more than 20 reactions to that message.
