Godrej Properties aims to sell properties worth Rs 14,000 crore in 2023-24

New Delhi. Godrej Properties is eyeing a 14 per cent growth in sales bookings to sell properties worth Rs 14,000 crore in the current financial year owing to high demand for homes. A senior company official gave this information. Talking to PTI, Godrej Executive Chairman Pirojsha Godrej said the company’s performance in 2022-23 was very strong on various parameters like sales bookings, cash collection from customers, completion of projects and addition of new plots for future projects. He said that the sales booking in 2022-23 has increased by 56 percent to a record Rs 12,232 crore. Almost all of these were residential properties.
He said that cash collections during this period stood at Rs 8,991 crore, a growth of 41 per cent, while project supplies touched a record one crore sq ft mark. Regarding the targets for the current financial year (2023-24), Pirojsha said, “We have currently set a target of booking sales of Rs 14,000 crore. We hope to do better than our annual target. The cash collection target for the current year is Rs 10,000 crore, while the home delivery target is 1.25 crore sqft. Pirojsha said the price of the company’s residential projects increased by an average of 10 per cent in the last financial year and it is expected to increase further in the current year.
