The company had 5,000 employees a month ago. He said the airline is awaiting approval from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for the revival plan. Operations will commence soon after approval from the regulator. Senior officials of the airline have discussed the revival plan with senior officials of DGCA.
“GoFirst is looking to start operations with a fleet of 26 aircraft as per the plan submitted to the DGCA this week,” the source told PTI, adding that with this fleet the airline will operate with 152 daily flights.
